Meet Our Operations Manager
Shannon Bold
I have dedicated my career to supporting older adults and their families during times of transition, always leading with compassion, respect, and understanding. I graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2015 with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, where I developed a strong foundation in person-centered care and the importance of maintaining quality of life at every stage of aging. I later earned my Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Utica College in 2018, which strengthened my knowledge of healthcare systems, operations, and advocacy within senior services.
Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of senior living roles, including sales, activities leadership, and other hands-on positions. These experiences allowed me to build meaningful relationships with residents and families while gaining a well-rounded perspective on the emotional and logistical challenges that often accompany aging and change.
Most recently, I worked with Oasis Senior Advisors, where I guided families through the often overwhelming process of senior living placement. I took pride in listening to each family’s unique situation and helping them find solutions that aligned with their needs, preferences, and values.
I am excited to be part of the Caring Transitions team, where I can continue to support older adults and their families through life’s changes. Being able to combine my professional background with my passion for helping others allows me to provide thoughtful guidance and reassurance during what can be a difficult time, and I am honored to be a trusted resource along the way.
